Ferric Oleate is often used as a chemical reagent and as an ingredient of heavy-metal soaps, which are used in lubricating greases, gel thickeners, and in paints as driers and flatting agents.
Ferric Oleate is soluble in alcohol, ether, and acids. It is insoluble in water.

Further processing of solid materials may result in the formation of combustible dusts. The potential for combustible dust formation should be taken into consideration before additional processing occurs.
Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed. For precautions see section 2.2.

Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.
Recommended storage temperature -20 °C
Air and light sensitive. Store under inert gas.
