More Information
Description
City Chemical manufactures high purity Silicon Acetate, CAS 562-90-3 in bulk quantity. By a direct photochemical vapor deposition method, silicon acetate is used in the preparation of silicon dioxide thin films. Silicon Acetate is used in the semiconductor industry. It serves as a precursor to supply silicon complexes with monofunctional bidentate Schiff bases. It is also used as an alternative to silicon hydride and alkoxide for low-temperature silicon dioxide manufacture. In addition, it reacts with ethanol in the absence of water to get silica gel and ethyl acetate.
